hahaha...no, seriously it's TOTALLY okay to be irritated by anyone who smells.
ReplyDeleteI grew up in a family of chain smokers. I was mortified by the idea that my clothes reeked of cigarettes and had to re-wash every clean outfit every morning in middle school, or store them in what looked like body bags in the laundry room.
I may be extreme, but whoever walks into class smelling of illegal substances has either no insight or consideration.
You got to give them some credit that they can handle medical school high as a kite. Did they recently start sitting where you normally sit? If I were you, I would mention something about the smell to them just to embarrass them to move.
ReplyDeleteAsk them if they spent all morning cooking with sage or getting sprayed by skunks - maybe both.

Actually I don't know who it is. Nobody that sits by me. I just smell it occasionally when people are milling around the auditorium. Could be a professor for all I know :)

I understand. You aren't paying an arm and a leg to become "edjumucated" just to deal with Cheech and Chong all day.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't worry about the WWIII thing. Stoners are pacifists...or just too high to care (not sure which).
