It's Baaaaacccckkkkkkk....

That lovely anatomy smell. In the lounge, the stairwell, the cafeteria. Today I was in a club officers meeting and we were actually trying to plan events on days when the first years didn't have lab so they wouldn't funk up the room. Ewe. Wash your scrubs kids.... it's icky if you don't.

  1. Ew. At my school they encourage us to swap our scrubs every day at the hospital's scrubs exchange. I can't understand why people would want to keep wearing the same manky anatomy scrubs day in and day out!

  2. Wow that would be awesome. But we don't have that service. We buy our own and wash our own.

  3. there are a select few who do not change out of their scrubs after lab and wear them to lunch and then afternoon lecture. so either they don't realize how disgusting that is, or they do realize and don't care

  4. You just wait LP. There are more than a select few... and they don't wash their scrubs ALL YEAR. Ask them. They aren't ashamed for some pathologic reason.

  5. Eeeeeew. That's nasty. I at least got rid of my scrubs after each unit, but no one, and I really mean NO ONE, wore their scrubs outside of the lab environment. The only exception was going for a quick pee. It was kind of just common knowledge-no one told us the rule, but it didn't need to be mentioned. That's really gross.

I even have a specific pair of shoes for the lab. And it has never been worn outside that environment. I remember there was a piece of human tissue that got stuck to the side once, and I didn't notice for a day. Can you imagine scrubs??!?!?

You should really say something. Seriously Ella.
