I've Tried...

And I can not come up with one single reason why I cannot wear 4" Tahari black sequined sling-back peep-toed pumps with my scrubs. You?

*Disclaimer for serious people. This is a joke.

  1. They're open toe. Not allowed in the hospital. At least not in the one where I work.

  2. First thing that crossed my mind too:

    open toes.

OSHA does not permit those in lab environments of which, hospitals, med schools, chemistry/biology departments are but a few.

  4. Just imagine how hot they'd look with disposable shoe covers.

  5. LOL, funny joke. But I've seen one of our infamously fashionable attendings wear something similar. They were best viewed when she was running to help with a code and slipped and slid shoes-first into one of our ICU glass doors. It was quite a sight - still talked about today and that was 2 years ago. :) I wear, that's the first thing I thought about when I saw the scrub pants and the shoes! :)
